Every five years, the department is charged with developing a comprehensive plan and setting priorities to meet public and environmental health needs across the state. Throughout 2018, department staff worked with a state advisory council to complete an assessment process to tell Colorado’s story as it relates to health and environment. The process has resulted in a state summary and data dashboard that now are available.
Please view the 2018 Public Health and Environmental Assessment Summary and the Data Dashboard to learn more.
Now we need your help to prioritize what to include in the 2020-2025 public and environmental health plan. After reviewing the summary and dashboard, please share your voice by completing the State Public and Environmental Health Planning poll by close of business Feb. 6. You can learn more about the planning process and stay updated on progress by checking out the Local Public Health and Environment Resources web page.
