Racial Equity Habit-Building Challenge

The COVID-19 pandemic is intensifying pre-existing social and economic inequities, which often disproportionately impact communities of color.  Food Solutions New England is offering a 21-day course to increase awareness of race and racism so we can better promote equity, justice, and resilience.  While this course focuses on racism in our food system, the information is applicable no matter what issues and communities we work with.

The 6th Annual 21-Day Racial Equity Habit-Building Challenge starts on Monday, March 30th

Many of you (not all) are working remotely or from home these days while also coming up with new patterns of work and home life. This is an excellent time to continue the work of learning about race and racism in our food system and making plans to build equity, justice and resilience over the weeks, months and years ahead. As the world and our communities move through this current crisis, the ability to understand and center equity will be more important than ever.

Do the Challenge from Home

As with past years, you can do the 21-Day Racial Equity Habit-Building Challenge from home using your computer, phone or tablet. You'll receive an email prompt every morning for twenty-one days with a short reading, video or audio assignment (with options for deeper learning if desired). Learn more.
